SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTES ACTIVATED

The City of Sedalia has declared a Snow Emergency as at least two inches of snow/sleet/ice are expected to occur January 11, 2019 through January 12, 2019. Parking is prohibited along Emergency Snow Routes as plows need access to clear and open the roadways. The Street Department is working to keep these designated streets as clear as possible to allow for emergency vehicle use. We appreciate everyone's cooperation in keeping vehicles off Emergency Snow Routes until cleared.

CITY STAFF MEMBERS RECOGNIZED FOR YEARS OF SERVICE

(SEDALIA, MISSOURI) : The City of Sedalia recognized five staff members for their combined 135 years of service to Sedalia at a meeting of the City Council on Monday, August 4.  The following staff members were recognized :

    • Linda Reid - Community Development Department - 35 Years
    • Dennis Vinson - Public Works Department - 35 Years

    • Pam Burlingame - Finance Department - 25 Years
    • James Rios - Cemetery Department - 20 Years
    • Judith Poole - Library - 20 Years

The City of Sedalia employs more than 200 individuals to serve the needs of the City and its citizens.  These employees, across all City departments, work together as a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of City government and services.
