The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for steadily falling temperatures with rain beginning late Friday afternoon, changing over to snow with accumulations from 1-3 inches overnight. Please click here to view the January 18, 2019 public service announcement issued by the City of Sedalia.

Drivers who routinely park on streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes will need to move their vehicles to other locations as snow is expected to accumulate during nighttime hours. City crews will be working overnight Friday to ensure Emergency Snow Routes remain open. Cars remaining parked on emergency snow routes may be towed or plowed in as crews work to keep these roadways open for emergency vehicles.

12/9/2016 - Sedalia Animal Shelter Open House

Sis and her friends at the Sedalia Animal Shelter would like to invite you to an open house with tours at the new facility on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 2:00 pm. to 4:00 p.m. There will be half price animal adoption vouchers for those who attend, a Christmas tree adorned with suggested donation items and refreshments! (Just in case your heart melts at the sight of this little cutie Sis is a 5 year old terrier, Jack Russell/mix).
