The City of Sedalia has declared a Snow Emergency as at least two inches of snow/sleet/ice are expected to occur January 11, 2019 through January 12, 2019. Parking is prohibited along Emergency Snow Routes as plows need access to clear and open the roadways. The Street Department is working to keep these designated streets as clear as possible to allow for emergency vehicle use. We appreciate everyone's cooperation in keeping vehicles off Emergency Snow Routes until cleared.

On January 17, 2017, from 7:00 a.m. to noon, N. Park Avenue will be closed to through traffic between W. Main Street and W. Pettis Street to allow for maintenance on the rail crossing. Motorists traveling through this area may want to allow extra time to reach their destinations and may want to consider use of alternate routes during completion of the maintenance project.

We apologize for any inconvenience as work to improve the rail crossing is completed. Please note that this maintenance project is dependent on weather conditions and may be delayed due to inclement weather.
