EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES ACTIVATED

The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at Noon on Friday, February 15, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for up to 4 inches of snow accumulating with snow starting mid-morning Friday, February 15, 2019 and ending Friday evening. Motorists should be aware that Street Department crews are out pretreating roadways and to be aware heavy equipment is operating throughout those areas.

1/24/2017 - N. Park Avenue Closed for Rail Crossing Maintenance
On January 24, 2017, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., N. Park Avenue will be closed to through traffic between W. Main Street and W. Pettis Street to allow for maintenance on the rail crossing. Motorists traveling through this area may want to allow extra time to reach their destinations and may want to consider use of alternate routes during completion of the maintenance project.

We apologize for any inconvenience as work to improve the rail crossing is completed. Please note that this maintenance project is dependent on weather conditions and may be delayed due to inclement weather.
