EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES ACTIVATED

The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for steadily falling temperatures with rain beginning late Friday afternoon, changing over to snow with accumulations from 1-3 inches overnight. Please click here to view the January 18, 2019 public service announcement issued by the City of Sedalia.

Drivers who routinely park on streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes will need to move their vehicles to other locations as snow is expected to accumulate during nighttime hours. City crews will be working overnight Friday to ensure Emergency Snow Routes remain open. Cars remaining parked on emergency snow routes may be towed or plowed in as crews work to keep these roadways open for emergency vehicles.

5/23/2017 - Mosquito Spraying Schedule Set for May 30-June 2, 2017

The Sedalia Public Works Department will be spraying for mosquitoes between the hours of 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on each of the following days (weather permitting):

Tuesday, May 30
From Broadway Boulevard south to the south city limits, from Ohio Avenue west to the west city limits.

Wednesday, May 31
From Broadway Boulevard north to the north city limits, from Ohio Avenue west to the west city limits.

Thursday, June 1
From Broadway Boulevard north to the north city limits, from Ohio Avenue east to the east city limits.

Friday, June 2
From Broadway Boulevard south to the south city limits, from Ohio Avenue east to the east city limits.
