The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for steadily falling temperatures with rain beginning late Friday afternoon, changing over to snow with accumulations from 1-3 inches overnight. Please click here to view the January 18, 2019 public service announcement issued by the City of Sedalia.

Drivers who routinely park on streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes will need to move their vehicles to other locations as snow is expected to accumulate during nighttime hours. City crews will be working overnight Friday to ensure Emergency Snow Routes remain open. Cars remaining parked on emergency snow routes may be towed or plowed in as crews work to keep these roadways open for emergency vehicles.

2/28/2018 - Lane Restriction and Crossover Closure: W. 16th Street and S. Beacon Avenue
Due to a water main break and damage to the roadway, West 16th Street near the intersection of S. Beacon Avenue is reduced to one lane westbound and the crossover between the east and west bound lane of 16th Street from S. Beacon is closed. These road restrictions will continue until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2018. Please see the link below for further information.
