EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES ACTIVATED

The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at Noon on Friday, February 15, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for up to 4 inches of snow accumulating with snow starting mid-morning Friday, February 15, 2019 and ending Friday evening. Motorists should be aware that Street Department crews are out pretreating roadways and to be aware heavy equipment is operating throughout those areas.

4/4/2018 - Retirement Announcement for City of Sedalia Police Chief John DeGonia

On Wednesday, April 4, 2018, Mayor Stephen Galliher announced that City of Sedalia Police Chief John DeGonia will be retiring on May 2, 2018 after serving the Sedalia community for 32 years.

Per the enclosed news release, Mayor Galliher stated,"While John DeGonia's leadership and friendship will be greatly missed in the Police Chief's office, I personally, along with the entire City staff, wish him the very best in his upcoming retirement."
