SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTES ACTIVATED

The City of Sedalia has declared a Snow Emergency as at least two inches of snow/sleet/ice are expected to occur January 11, 2019 through January 12, 2019. Parking is prohibited along Emergency Snow Routes as plows need access to clear and open the roadways. The Street Department is working to keep these designated streets as clear as possible to allow for emergency vehicle use. We appreciate everyone's cooperation in keeping vehicles off Emergency Snow Routes until cleared.

CITY STAFF MEMBERS RECOGNIZED FOR YEARS OF SERVICE

(SEDALIA, MISSOURI) : The City of Sedalia recognized two staff members for their combined 35 years of service at a meeting of the City Council on June 7.  The following staff members were recognized : 

    • George Stevens - Public Works Department - 20 Years
    • David Woolery - Police Department - 15 Years 
 

The City of Sedalia employs more than 220 individuals to serve the needs of the City and its citizens.  These employees, across all City departments, work together as a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of City government and services - building a dynamic life and comfortable living for the residents of our community.
