6/11/2018 - Sedalia DARE Program Awards Scholarships

Sedalia is exceptionally blessed to have such an active DARE program. Because of this group's efforts, two fully funded $500 scholarships are awarded to area youth. These scholarships are created solely through the generous donations by Sedalia citizens to the Sedalia DARE program. Congratulations, Makenna Steger (pictured left) and Elizabeth Matz (pictured right) for being this year's scholarship recipients. Also pictured left to right is Police Chief Matthew Wirt, DARE Event Coordinator Bob Hiller and Mayor John Kehde. Makenna's DARE Office was Sgt. Bradley Beard and Elizabeth's DARE Officer was Officer Rodney Collins.
