EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES ACTIVATED

The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at Noon on Friday, February 15, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for up to 4 inches of snow accumulating with snow starting mid-morning Friday, February 15, 2019 and ending Friday evening. Motorists should be aware that Street Department crews are out pretreating roadways and to be aware heavy equipment is operating throughout those areas.

8/3/2018 - City of Sedalia Receives Scrap Tire Materials Grant: Prairie Queen Walk and Wheels Trail Project
The City of Sedalia was recently notified by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR), Solid Waste Management Program of a nearly $49,000 Non-playground Scrap Tire Material Grant award for the Queen of the Prairie Trail Project to be located adjacent to the City of Sedalia Animal Shelter at 2420 S. New York Avenue. The grant provides funds for material and labor for installation of a scrap tire surface for the walking trail. Please see the link below for more information.

Mayor John Kehde will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the project on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the trail head located at 2420 S. New York Avenue. The public is invited to attend the ceremony to learn more about the project.
