SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTES ACTIVATED

The City of Sedalia has declared a Snow Emergency as at least two inches of snow/sleet/ice are expected to occur January 11, 2019 through January 12, 2019. Parking is prohibited along Emergency Snow Routes as plows need access to clear and open the roadways. The Street Department is working to keep these designated streets as clear as possible to allow for emergency vehicle use. We appreciate everyone's cooperation in keeping vehicles off Emergency Snow Routes until cleared.

City of Sedalia Tree Inventory

The City of Sedalia has received a TRIM grant through the Missouri Department of Conservation for completion of a partial tree re-inventory along certain street right-of-ways on public property and Crown Hill Cemetery. Davey Resource Group, the City of Sedalia's contractor, started collection of tree data on December 21, 2018. The entire tree re-inventory data collection process should be completed by February 1, 2019.
