7/10/2019 - Intersection Closure

The Water Division's contractor is scheduled to complete work in the area of the intersection of W. 4th Street and S. Quincy Avenue. The north side of the intersection will be closed beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 and continuing through 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2019. The work on water lines in the area requires placement of boring equipment that will block the roadway intersection while new pipes are installed. The street will reopen to through traffic on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 5:30 p.m., dependent on weather allowing for completion of the scheduled work.

The alley between 3rd and 4th on S. Quincy Avenue will remain open during this time to allow homeowners to access their garages and driveways.
