On behalf of the City of Sedalia, we invite you to Sedalia’s Small Business Saturday on Saturday, November 30th. Small Business Saturday is a nation-wide event sponsored by American Express to encourage purchasing holiday gifts locally to not only support local businesses, but to stimulate the local economy at large. The City of Sedalia will be sponsoring our own city-wide event to increase visits to local businesses, and to demonstrate how our beautiful city can meet all of your holiday shopping needs. With Small Business Saturday fast approaching, the City of Sedalia is now handing out Sedalia Bucks at the Municipal Building.



Sedalia Bucks can be redeemed at participating vendors throughout the city on November 30 for individualized discounts set by our merchants. Simply present the Sedalia Buck to a clerk and receive special offers for the day. Make sure you hang onto your buck – merchants will not be collecting them so that way you can keep shopping!

Be sure to document your experience by using #SedaliaShopLocal on your social media posts. By doing so, you will be entered in a chance to win a 1 night stay in the Platinum Suite at Hotel Bothwell, a bottle of Wine Courtesy of the Oak Room Lounge and a $25 Gift Certificate to the Ivory Grille!
