The City of Sedalia is working with PGAV to create a new “Comprehensive Plan”. Obtaining input from residents, business owners and community stakeholders is a key element of the planning process. We need to hear from you what you want our community to become over the next decade. This “Comprehensive Plan” is really our road map to develop the City.
Today, PGAV launched www.sedalia2040.com, a website designed to give residents a chance to offer opinions, ideas and new concepts for the plan. The site will also allow residents to monitor the process and react to many of the ideas presented in real time. “The most important part of creating this new plan is to gather the public’s input and provide them the opportunity to be heard and share their vision for our great city. This is an important time in Sedalia’s history as we build civic pride with a brand for our community and a road map to our future. I hope you will attend, either in person or virtually and give us your ideas,” said Mayor John Kehde.
PGAV will host the first opportunity to participate in the process with a Public Forum on Thursday, September 24, in the City Council Chambers at the Sedalia Municipal Building. The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. Social distancing will be observed and masks will be available at the site.
