SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTES ACTIVATED

The City of Sedalia has declared a Snow Emergency as at least two inches of snow/sleet/ice are expected to occur January 11, 2019 through January 12, 2019. Parking is prohibited along Emergency Snow Routes as plows need access to clear and open the roadways. The Street Department is working to keep these designated streets as clear as possible to allow for emergency vehicle use. We appreciate everyone's cooperation in keeping vehicles off Emergency Snow Routes until cleared.

City of Sedalia to Establish Snowstorm Tree/Limb Debris Pickup Date

(SEDALIA, MISSOURI):   Sedalia experienced widespread damage to area trees due to the massive snow and ice accumulation from the last two recent snowstorms. Due to the large amount of tree/limb debris, the City of Sedalia will schedule a special collection route in the future. The collection route will be scheduled once snow amounts have decreased enough to guarantee safe pickup and transport. A press release will be issued when this collection route is established.
