On Wednesday, February 18, Sedalia City Clerk Arlene Silvey was sworn in as President of the MOCCFOA (Missouri City Clerks and Finance Officers Association) Central Division. While Mrs. Silvey has been a member of the MOCCFOA for 11 years, she will now serve as their Central Division president for the next two years.
The Missouri City Clerks and Finance Officers Association was founded in 1951 to promote the City Clerk profession throughout Missouri. The educational knowledge and networking opportunities presented at the quarterly meetings within the Central Region is helpful for everyday job responsibilities, allows for professional development and is a valuable resource for each of the municipalities represented. Mrs. Silvey added, “Being a part of this organization helps City Clerks be the best they can be.”
